Northern Lights -- Third Night

The third night we saw Northern Lights there was a strong, large feature that persisted for maybe 30 minutes before fading. While it had much the same shape when it was strongest, there were lots of changes in detail, seen in the images below. The bluish background in first two vs blackish in latter two is processing differences. This feature had a long “tail” that extended from upper left for a distance 3-4 times greater than what is captured in Lars’ images. The dark gray horizontal streaks are clouds.
