Random Thoughts and Pics

Since we’ve been having so many issues with sending our posts, we’re just going to jot down a few thoughts from time to time, save them up, and post when we can.  Mightn’t be quite as organized as our previous blog, but that’s the way it is.
Clothing has turned out to be a different issue than we thought.  We’ve got plenty of good warm things to wear…but until we crossed into the Arctic, we often found ourselves overly warm. The biggest issue was, we’d dress for outdoor conditions, for example the rain in Bergen.  Then, the instant we stepped into a building, we wanted to take everything off!  This is bothersome when you’re in, say, a bookstore, and you end up having to carry your coat and sweater for half an hour.  Now we’re starting to actually use more of what we brought.
Keeping the blog is a bit time-consuming, and sometimes not everything happens in a timely manner. Like, Sheila’s photos don’t always get downloaded into the computer and edited before WHOOPS! We have a connection!  SEND that puppy!
Herewith, a few of Sheila’s photos from Days 4 and 5:
Followers of our previous blog should be able to name these ducks:

Sheila has a new favorite artist—Dagfinn Bakke, from Svolvær.  His works decorate the stairways on MS Finnmarken, and are always good for a smile:
